  1. Camino de Santiago

2. Zubiri to Estrella

The next section of this journey is from Zubiri through Pamplona, made famous by Hemmingway and the running of the bulls during the San Fermin festival each July. Puenta la Reina ("bridge of the queen) has a Romanesque bridge built in medieval times to help pilgrims cross the Arga River. Estella, population 15,000, marks the end of the fifth day of the walk on the Camino. The town was founded in 1090; it contains fine examples of Romaesque architecture.
